Fees for treatment are assessed on a sliding scale. This means that the fees for counseling are based on a client’s current financial situation and ability to pay. The fee for the first appointment will be negotiated over the phone. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, visa or MasterCard.
G.U.T.S. Inc. is not paneled with any insurance companies. We believe that treatment should be tailored to the individual and not determined by an insurance panel. We can create a Super Bill for you that can be submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement. All fees for service are expected at the time of service.
24-hour notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment as a courtesy to your therapist and for other client’s that might use that open time slot. We have a time and date stamp on our voicemail (714) 730-0838 that will let us know that you have made the cancelation in enough time. Any cancelation made less than 24 hours in advance or a no show for an appointment will be charged at a full session rate.
Clients often wonder how long treatment will be and how frequently they will be seen. The answer varies depending on the individual and family needs, as well as the severity of the case. You and your therapist determine the duration and frequency of treatment. This will be something that is collaboratively decided and discussed in treatment.
